In today’s episode, I have the exquisite pleasure of sitting down with Annick Goldsmith, the visionary and mastermind behind Black Market Group, a women-led, purpose-driven cannabis brand house created by industry veterans. You heard me right!! Annick tells me all about the mission behind the brand and shares the details of her 4/20 Launch Party that launched INFSM Farms by Havoc and Big Twins of Mobb Deep/Infamous Mobb and Higher Frequency by the legend RAKIM. Black Market Group is a cannabis brand house created to preserve the legacy of artists, farmers, and various brands within cannabis while creating dynamic environments that build up small operators. Home to a group of brands that each individually have their own identity, BMG amplifies brands that place the culture at their center. The female-founded Black Market Group officially launched on 4/20, and has cultivated strong relationships with “legacy” cannabis farms and cannabis aficionados from the world of hip-hop to cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships within a vertically-integrated ecosystem.
