Feminized with Liz Grow

LIFE + 60 YEARS: Mary Bailey, Executive Director Last Prisoner Project & Ferrell Williams | Grow House Media Presents: Feminized with Liz Grow | EP 20

Episode Summary

It’s the 20th episode of Feminized and there’s no better way to celebrate this milestone than with a very special episode. Before Mary Bailey dedicated her life to freeing cannabis prisoners through her work with the Last Prisoner Project, she began writing letters to cannabis prisoner Ferrell Williams, serving a life sentence plus 60 years for distribution of marijuana. Their friendship blossomed through those letters and Mary could not sit idly and let her friend waste away in jail for a plant. Seven months ago, Ferrell was released from prison, and Mary finally meets him in person on the night before the podcast recording. Mary interviews Ferrell in the second half of the podcast about his experience as a cannabis prisoner and his excitement for the future. It’s a huge honor to have Ferrell as the first male voice on the Feminized Podcast. He is a true King and it was incredibly moving to sit in for Mary’s interview which just makes Mary’s own passion for social justice shine even brighter. Get ready to be inspired because CHANGE IS COMING.
